the shell of the building was dictated by the environment of the site. the north façade, which looks out over the motorway, is an imposing façade that forms a distinctive display, being of substantial height and an eye-catching colour. by contrast, the south façade, which looks out over countryside, is low and tinted with natural shades that produce a camouflage effect. the building opens out generously over the countryside zone where the pedestrian access is located, while the north-light roof provides the benefit of natural lighting and panoramic views.
